Amongst Blake’s many press interviews about The Shallows, she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to promote the movie.
When talking about her family, she mentioned that they were recently separated for Father’s Day, and instead she was on a flight with her daughter, James.
She hilariously described the experience of watching other people on the plane watching Deadpool and having to endure the particularly graphic sex scenes in it.
“Everywhere I look, every screen, is my husband in a sex montage throughout the holidays, with another woman – because everyone wants to watch Deadpool on a plane!”
“But for 14 hours having your husband have mashed potatoes out of his butt-hole, because that’s in the films, it’s lovely!” she joked. “It’s like a cruel and unusual form of torture.”
But her description of her daughter’s reaction was even funnier!
“And then my daughter goes ‘Dada!’ – hugging and kissing the screen, and waving at him! And he’s not waving back and she doesn’t know why…”
