In the trailer, a tense-looking Robbie walks towards the lift and presses level two - the level of the executive suite at Fox News. She's joined by Kidman, who also gets out at that level and Theron who watches them leave.

Joining the three Oscar-approved actresses are John Lithgow as Roger Ailes; Connie Britton as Beth Ailes; Allison Janney as Ailes’s legal counsel Susan Estrich; Kate McKinnon as a Fox News employee; and Nazanin Boniadi as former Fox News correspondent Rudi Bakhtiar
In 2016, Carlson sued Ailes for sexual harassment forcing him to resign (before his death). Her allegations prompted a flood of other women to come forward with their stories of harassment by the cable network news chief, including Kelly, who went into detail about her time at Fox News in her memoir Settle for More.
Bombshells is released December 20th and we can already smell the Oscars buzz.
The film hits theatres on January 16, 2020.
