Jennifer Aniston celebrated turning the big 5-0 over the weekend with a birthday bash in Los Angeles, and the guest list included all her celebrity pals – including ex-husband Brad Pitt.
According to People, Pitt made a ‘casual entrance’ to the hotel where Aniston’s party was being held. “Basically, every single person who Jen loves attended. That included Brad,” a source told the outlet. “The party was a celebration of Jen’s life.”
“Brad, for long, was a very important part of Jen’s life. She debated back and forth with friends if she should invite him,” adds the insider. “She was very happy that he showed up. Many of his close friends were at the party too.”
Also in attendance was Gwyneth Paltrow, John Mayer, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and Kate Hudson.
George and Amal Clooney, Reese Witherspoon, Robert Downey Jr., Ellen DeGeneres, Barbra Streisand, Keith Richards, Laura Dern, Demi Moore and Jennifer Meyer were among the familiar faces at the star-studded event, as were Aniston’s Friends costars and good pals Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox.
Pitt and Aniston split in 2005 after five years of marriage. Pitt went on to marry Angelina Jolie and Aniston wed Justin Theroux. Sadly, neither marriage worked out and both Pitt and Aniston are both currently single.
But, don’t let your imagination run wild. Per People’s source, who alleges to be close to both parties, Pitt and Aniston aren’t exactly reconciling.
“They aren’t in regular contact,” the source said. “Beyond an occasional text back and forth to wish each other the best when there’s been a new project or big event.”
