Moving away from chiselled cheekbones, Brown says rosy hues will be on the rise as the perfect complement to clean skin.
“Blush has made a comeback for brides—no ‘80s pink swipe though, but a soft peachy application on the apple of the cheek only. This freshens and lifts the face, which is always great when feeling tired and dull,” he says.
His top pick? Nudestix Nudies Bloom All Over Dewy Color Blush in Sweet Peach Peony which can also be used “for lips and even an eyelid base colour”.
Like all aspects of the beauty-sphere, bridal makeup won’t be immune to Euphoria’s influence.
“Adding a concentrated metallic wash of colour on the central eyelid is a big trend at the moment, think TV show Euphoria, and the more foil-like the metallic the better,” Brown tells us.
But, there is a fine balance when it comes to making the look work for your wedding day.
“For bridal makeup though, there is flash photography, so my tip is to think less is best! Only add a very small amount of a metallic shade at the very centre and as close to lash line as possible so it doesn’t overtake your look.”
“Always use a fingertip to press a metallic finish to the eye, this avoids fall-out and always balance with matte shades around socket and outer lash line areas, with a palette like Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Quad.”
