Academy award-winning actress Brie Larson should probably win another Oscar for her hilarious reaction to being in the middle of a fan’s surprise wedding proposal over the weekend.
The moment happened when John Chambrone and his boyfriend Richard Owen met the Captain Marvel star at Ace Comic-Con in Chicago. During the meet and greet, Chambrone surprised both Owens and Larson when he dropped to his knees and proposed.
Thankfully, the moment – and Larson’s hilarious reaction – was captured by the photographer who was on hand:
The 30-year-old actress shared her reaction on Twitter, writing, “Y’all I was present for a proposal and I am CHANGED. Much love to the happy couple!!!!”
Chambrone also shared the photos to Facebook, writing, “So, most of you may know that I was popping the question today to my beloved Richard Owen and it could not have gone better! Brie Larson was amazing!”
“He said yes and we both put the ring on his finger. As we were walking away, Richard said he saw her tear up a bit,” Chambrone wrote.
“Thanks to Brie Larson and Ace Comic Con for bringing her to Chicago and allowing me to include her in this, making it the most epic moment of my life!”
