Britney Spears’ Awkward Onstage Gaffe

'Where are we?'

Britney Spears had an embarrassing onstage moment over the weekend during a concert in the UK.

The original Princess of Pop was performing at the Brighton Pride celebration at Preston Park and midway through the performance she turned to her backup dancer and asked, “Where are we?”.

The dancer replied, “Brighton Pride” and then the 36-year-old turned to the crowd and shouted, “What’s up Brighton Pride!”

The clip has since gone viral, and comes just a week after she invited TV host Andy Cohen onstage during her concert in New York City and then forgot who he was.

“I think you all know who this is …” she said, strategically avoiding using his name. “Give it up for … him!”

“My take on this is, first of all, why would Britney know my name? She’s Britney bitch. Like I have no expectation. It’s why I have no expectation that Madonna should know who I am,” Cohen said afterwards. “I am a mortal, and Britney is Britney.”
