Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson have kept their one-year relationship extremely private, so much so that we don’t know whether they’re married or not.
The couple met on the set of the film Her Smell and in a rare interview, Cara has opened up about how they first started dating. “We weren’t looking for it,” she told marie claire US. “It was really just very authentic and natural.”
The 27-year-old also spoke about her sexuality, saying she pretended she wasn’t attracted to women for a long time because she “didn’t want to feel different, even though from an early age I always felt I didn’t belong.”
Cara has spoken about her relationship with Ashley just once before in June while explaining why she chose to finally go Instagram official with her relationship. “I don’t know – because it is Pride, it’s been 50 years since Stonewall [Riots] happened, and I don’t know. It’s been just about our one year anniversary, so why not?” she said at the time.
Later that night, she also gave Ashley a shoutout while giving an acceptance speech. “I also have another very special woman in this room to thank, and you know who you are,” she started. “She’s one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most, and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought. I love you, Sprinkles.”
Last month The Sun reported that the couple had spent $438 on a Las Vegas wedding, which included celebrity guests such as Charlize Theron, The Jonas Brothers and Sophie Turner and which, similar to Joe and Sophie’s nupitals, was officiated by an Elvis impersonator.
Though no photos have been released from the ceremony and the date hasn’t been confirmed, it’s said the brides both wore black and that Ashley was “wearing high heels and carrying a bouquet.” After saying “I do,” the brides posed for photos in a pink Cadillac.
