Carrie Bickmore And Fifi Box Just Had The Sweetest Playdate With Their Daughters

"Who run the world?"

Carrie Bickmore and Fifi Box are here to remind us all just who exactly runs the world. The two popular television hosts, who both recently welcomed baby girls, took to Instagram to share pictures from a playdate featuring Carrie’s daughters Evie, 4, and Adelaide, 7 months and Fifi’s daughters Trixie, 6, and Daisy, who was born just last month.

Alongside a smiling photo of the two, Carrie cradles baby Daisy and Fifi holds Adelaide. The caption read: “Baby swap! So lovely to spend an afternoon cuddling each other’s babies 💕💕 @bickmorecarrie”.

Both Carrie and Fifi shared the same group selfie of the six together. Fifi wrote, “Girls girls girls!! 💕💕💕” while Carrie wrote, “Who run the world?”

The adorable playdate comes just days after Carrie returned to The Project following her maternity leave.

Speaking to The Sydney Morning Herald, Carrie reflected on her ten years on the news desk. “If I go into my house, I have three children on school holidays and it’s quite noisy. So for media, I’m staying put in the car,” she said. “I don’t know how people work from home, I honestly get absolutely nothing done.”

“A lot of people told me going from two to three kids would be easy, but it’s been so incredibly tricky,” Bickmore added. “There’s just no time left over to think about anything. There’s a lot to do, a lot of noise, and just a lot of life.”

On having a work-life balance, she previously told marie claire, “The older I’m getting, the more I’m realising that my goal is far less work-oriented and more about a calm, chilled-out life. My Instagram’s not going to look very fun this weekend, but God, my soul feels happier.”

Back in January, Carrie shared an emotional post to Instagram detailing some of the ups and downs of new motherhood. Her ‘downs’ included, “Googling ‘what is reflux at 3am’, surviving on four hours broken sleep, being diagnosed with mastitis, and eating meals with one hand.”
