We can’t all splash out a cool $1,395 on our skincare routine like Kim Kardashian or wear *actual* $100 notes on our nails à la Jennifer Lopez. Sometimes – ok, often – the beauty kits of the rich and famous are completely out of our budgets.

But every now and again, celebrities keep it real and sing their praises for drugstore beauty buys that we can actually afford. And when you consider that they have all the money in the world yet they choose to use a bargain beauty product over a luxe one, we can only assume they must be good.

Here are the drugstore skincare products that celebrities actually use:

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Wipes

Biodegradable, hypoallergenic and convenient, Victoria Beckham reaches for these French pharmacy face wipes at the end of the day. VB told Into the Gloss they’re “The only face wipes that actually take off all my makeup”. She explained, “I always use a cleanser after, but these wipes really get everything off”.

Lanolips 101 Ointment

As a model and founder of beauty website Rose Inc., Rosie Huntington-Whiteley spends her days trying new beauty products. So for her to call out one in particular, you know they must be exceptional. In 2018, RHW gave special mention to a cult Aussie product – Lanolips 101 Ointment. “@lanolips 101 ointment is our holy grail for dry lips this summer. And cuticles, and rough patches, and, the list goes on,” she wrote on her Instagram, before adding, “Go on and snag one”.

Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner

Emma Watson is known for favouring an eco-friendly beauty routine, and she gave a special shout-out to Australian natural skincare brand Sukin for their hydrating and soothing facial toner (she has dry skin) and their do-good initiatives. “Sukin are an Australian brand committed to offsetting their carbon emissions through a clean energy biomass project in India,” Emma posted on her Instagram account.

Bio Oil

As we’ve already proved, Kim Kardashian-West is not shy about splurging on her skincare. But she does swear by a couple of drugstore skincare products, too, one of which is Bio Oil. Kim has professed her love for the multipurpose oil on numerous occasions, sharing that she doesn’t just use it on her stretch marks, but also on her face and around her eyes to combat wrinkles.

“[Bio-Oil] just makes my skin glow, and it has so many benefits,” Kim shared on her now-closed website. “When I was pregnant, I would apply it like crazy, lol. This oil totally saved me.”
