The ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ Lineup Has Dropped And We Spy Rebecca Gibney And Ian Thorpe

There’s no shortage of famous faces.

MasterChef Australia is one of our nation’s most beloved shows (and for good reason). Where else would you witness incredibly wholesome cooking, unrivalled teamwork and of course, the icon that is Melissa Leong?

While we’re currently in the middle of the thirteenth season, there are already some exciting new developments brewing in the MasterChef kitchen. The lineup for Celebrity MasterChef 2021 has just landed and it’s incredible. The highly-anticipated season will see 10 of the nation’s most beloved faces battle it out for the title.

Among the contestants are acclaimed Australian actors Rebecca Gibney and Matt Le Nevez. Olympian Ian Thorpe will also be going for gold, while singer songwriter Dami Im will be striving to hit all the right flavor notes. Radio personality Chrissie Swan will also join the kitchen, along with comedian Dilruk Jayasinha, professional football player Archie Thompson, AFL star Nick Riewoldt and fashion designer Collette Dinnigan.

Perhaps the contestant generating the most buzz, however, is the youngest one – Tilly Ramsay. She also happens to be the daughter of internationally renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, which might give her a slight advantage.

While the extent of their cooking knowledge isn’t entirely clear, it does seem like a few have skills in the kitchen. If you don’t believe us, look no further than this mouth-watering video of Dami making Korean BBQ.

Our favourite judges Melissa Leong, Andy Allen and Jock Zonfrillo will be returning to crown the winner. And, given the incredible lineup, we’re fairly sure they’re just as excited for this season as we are.
