Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup have officially tied the knot in a surprise wedding ceremony.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Watts shared a photo of the happy couple on the courthouse steps, with the caption, “Hitched”.
Watts wore a lace Oscar De La Renta dress and carried a bouquet of white flowers “from the deli”, she shared on Instagram. Meanwhil, Crudup donned a navy suit and white button-up.
Watts and Crudup, both 54, have been dating since 2018 after starring as husband and wife in the Netflix series, Gypsy.
The pair’s low-key nuptials did not include many of their celebrity inner circle, with famous friends jumping on Instagram to share congratulations.
Noted bestie, Nicole Kidman, wrote on Watts’ Instagram: “So So happy for you both, Love you Nai – you did it!”
Meanwhile, other pals Michelle Pfeiffer, Reese Witherspoon, Chloe Sevigny, Miranda Kerr, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson also chimed in with well wishes.
“Woohoo!!! So happy for y’all!!” wrote Witherspoon (who stars alongside Crudup in Morning Wars), while Paltrow went with a “Yipeeeeeee!!!! Sending so much love!!”
Hudson, who played opposite Crudup in Almost Famous, wrote: “Ah!!!! Congrats! Love you”
Meanwhile, Watts’ first husband, Liev Schreiber, also shared a big congratulations for his ex wife.
“Congratulations!!! Gorgeous!!!” the actor commented on the post.
Watts and Schreiber divorced in 2016 after nine years of marriage, and continue to co-parent two children.
While this is Crudup’s first wedding, the actor has had a couple of high-profile relationships with actresses Mary Louise-Parker and Claire Danes.
While details of Watts and Crudup’s June nuptials are still under wraps, we know Watts was styled by Jean Ann Williams in a lace Oscar De La Renta summer dress.
The famous guest list is also unknown, however, photos have already began making the rounds on social media thanks to a few special guests.
A pic shared by travel blogger Kelly Burns, shows Mark Ruffalo and his wife, Sunrise, attended the wedding alongside fellow actor Sam Rockwell.
Ruffalo himself also shared an intimate snap of the newlyweds on their wedding day to his account.
