Our First Look At The ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Reboot Is Finally Here

We're so ready

We have finally been given our first look at the Charlie’s Angel’s reboot starring Kristen Stewart, and to say we’re excited is an understatement.

Shared by Entertainment Weekly, the first few images see the cast members sporting some colourful looks, ranging from red leather jackets to bright horse jockey silks.

Joining the former Twilight star are Power Rangers and Aladdin‘s Naomi Scott and newcomer Ella Balinska, while director Elizabeth Banks will also star as Bosley. However, there won’t just be one Bosley in this film; there’ll be multiple versions of the Angels’ trusty sidekick, with Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou also confirmed to play the part.

According to EW, Stewart is a “hard-paryting, highly skilled wild card”, Balinska is “the ex-MI6 muscle of the group” and Scott plays an “MIT-trained scientist who is the heart of the movie”.

Explaining why there is now more than one Bosley, Elizabeth said: “Bosley is now rank in the organisation, like lieutenants. “All of the Angels have been played by different women and have had different names, but the Bosley character was always named Bosley no matter who played him. We thought, ‘Well, that must mean it’s more than a name.'”

The new Charlie’s Angels film isn’t a reboot or remake, but rather a continuation of the story. It’s set in the present day and takes place roughly 40 years after Charlie created the undercover crime-fighting company in the 1970s.
