It’s one of the original Girl Power franchises and we are SO here for a remake. And now we finally know who will be cast in the key roles.
First up, the rumours are true about Elizabeth Banks playing a female Bosley. The Pitch Perfect star will also produce the project so you know it’s going to be good.
As for the Angels, again the rumours are true with Twilight star Kristen Stewart on board as well as Naomi Scott (who killed it as Pink Ranger in 2017's Power Rangers movie).
However, rounding out the iconic trio is not Lupita Nyong’o but rather little known British actress Ella Balinska.
Banks took to Instagram to confirm the news, writing, “The #charliesangels@ellabalinska @naomigscott#kristenstewart 💥💥💥”
The film follows the next-gen of crime fighting Angels working for The Townsend Agency helmed by the beloved Bosley and is scheduled for release on September 27, 2019.
