That’s right, your fave witches from 1998 – 2006 are coming back in a new TV reboot of Charmed!
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, learning that The CW network is teaming up with Jane The Virgin showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman to create the new series.
Though we know that the new series will be connected in some way to the old series, it’s not clear how at this stage. It is being described as a ‘reimagining’ of the old show, set in 1976.
CBS announced three years ago that they would be remaking the show, however it never reached the development stage as original stars Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan did not support it.
Milano even took to Twitter to express her disapproval…
However The CW will welcome the Charmed reboot as its popular series Vampire Diaries finishes up.
