Chris Noth Dropped By Talent Agency As Third Woman Comes Forward With Allegations

It comes just three months after signing with them.

Trigger Warning: this article deals with sexual assault and may be triggering to some readers.

Mere weeks after reprising his role as Mr Big in the Sex And The City reboot, And Just Like That, actor Chris Noth has found himself at the centre of historical sexual assault allegations. In their wake, he has been dropped by his talent agency  A3 Artists Agency  whom he was signed with just three months prior.

Speaking to Metro UKa spokesperson for the agency said, “I can confirm that Chris Noth is no longer a client.”

The decision to drop the actor comes after two sexual assault allegations (dating back to 2004 and 2015) surfaced from two separate women. The 67-year-old actor has strongly denied the allegations, labelling them as “categorically false.”

Both women (who go by the pseudonyms Lily and Zoe) have spoken to the Hollywood Reporter to publicise their claims, but no police report has been filed as of yet. Zoe alleges that she was 22 when her assault took place, after Noth invited her to his apartment in West Hollywood and allegedly raped her. The second accuser, Lily, claims that Noth invited her to his Greenwich Village apartment, and allegedly, forced her to have sex with him.

In response to the allegations, Noth released a statement to Metro UK which read:

“The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

Most recently, a third woman has come forward to accuse Noth of sexual assault, which she claims took place when she was 18. He has denied these claims.

Speaking to The Daily Beastthe tech executive alleges that Noth assaulted her in 2010 in a New York restaurant at which she was working. She claims that the actor groped her and pulled her onto his lap, which she said “confused her at the time because, on some level, it was exciting,” given his role on Sex And The City.

The woman then claims that Noth followed her after her shift, before initiating a sexual act.

“He wasn’t hearing ‘no,'” she said, “but he heard me when I said ‘not here’ and convinced him that I would meet him somewhere else.”

She then says she returned home and didn’t respond to his texts, where he asked for her home address.

“The story is a complete fabrication, and the alleged accounts detailed throughout read like a piece of bad fiction,” Noth’s rep said in a statement to NBC News. “Chris has no knowledge of who this individual is and, as stated yesterday, has and would never cross that line.”
