It’s the age-old question, to have children or to not have children. And for Selling Sunset‘s Chrishell Stause, she’s made it abundantly clear that she does see children in her future.
But what left fans perplexed was why she left her relationship with Jason Oppenheim, who admitted that he wanted no children, to be with G Flip, an Australian musician who’s 13 years Chrishell’s junior.
Now, it seems like the musician has made it clear on where they stand regarding having children, and it’s more on par with Chrishell than we thought.
“I definitely see children in my future,” they said during the latest episode of People’s People Every Day podcast.
“Right now, me and Chrishell know where we are in the stages of our lives,” they said, adding, “And we’re very transparent about that”.
The pair began their romance following Chrishell’s breakup with her boss, Jason Oppenheim in December 2021. Clear about her desire to have children from the get-go, Jason was more hesitant and eventually, the pair realised they’d never be on the same page about it. And now, Chrishell’s found a relationship where starting a family could be a reality.
“I love children,” G Flip said in the podcast interview. “I was a music teacher for years before I became a session drummer and then a solo artist. So I was like, I’ve always loved kids. Definitely one day that’ll be in the future.”

They added, “I feel like it honestly, like, changes the world and it normalises same-sex relationships. Two people who have the same sex organs can still have children.”
Looking back on when they first met Chrishell, G Flip explained that they were both dating other people. But when the pair became newly single soon after their initial encounter, they began getting to know each other.
“We just found a lot of similarities, even though people would think we are from like different corners of the world. We find ourselves so similar sometimes,” they explained.
“I’m very fortunate to have her in my life. We both feel like we’ll be in each other’s life forever. We have like a very strong connection that you don’t find every day.”
Chrishell confirmed that she and G Flip were “hanging out” during a season five reunion episode of Selling Sunset earlier this month. She did so by sharing that she’d taken part in G Flip’s new music video for “Get Me Outta Here”, where Chrishell stars as the musician’s love interest.
“It was so much fun. We had such a blast. Not everyone’s going to be ready for it, but I think it’s great,” Stause said about the music video at the time. “I think it’s amazing. The song is amazing.”
Before her relationships with G Flip and Jason, Chrishell was briefly engaged to actor Matthew Morrison and was later married to Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021.
