According to The Migraine Trust, many women experience migraines for the first time throughout their pregnancy, while some experience an increase in their symptoms particularly during the first trimester. Which means that Teigen isn't alone in her health struggles.
She went on to explain that getting Botox for her jaw grinding "was a MUST" for her regular headaches. She also said, "You can also do behind the brow for migraines. Life changing."
Replying to her comments, one of Teigen's followers said: "I'm so excited to hear you talking about this! I'm going in for jaw botox and neck muscle botox for headaches in a few weeks, and I can't wait for the relief. Wish more people knew about this as an option for headache relief."
Thankfully, Teigen's admission hasn't generated much, if any, controversy. Rather, many have found her words to be relatable and informative.
And either way, with the support and guidance of a medical professional, every woman has the right to do as they please with their own bodies—including botox.
