The Best Tributes To Australia’s Shared Boyfriend Ciarran From ‘The Bachelorette’

It's not goodbye, it's see you later

The nation of Australia shed collective tears on Thursday night when everyone’s favourite Bachelorette contestant went home. Frontrunner Ciarran decided to leave the after finding out his grandma had passed, wanting to head home to the UK to spend time with this family and we just have one question: why was the show not put on hold until he decided he was ready to come back? We could’ve waited. We would’ve waited.

His goodbye with Angie was nothing short of devastating, with both of them crying and a ridiculously emotional final kiss and, we don’t know about you, but we were reaching for the tissues about two-seconds in.

Following the episode, Ciarran took to Instagram to write a message to his fellow contestants, telling them they “have a chance now”, and to Angie, saying she’s an “amazing woman.”

“This was by far the hardest decision I had to make on here. Knowing that I had an amazing connection with Angie and then having to tell her I had to leave was just gut wrenching,” he posted. “She is an amazing woman and is full of love to give and can never wipe that big smile off her face! Thank you for letting me be apart of this experience on your quest (not journey) to find a man you can hopefully say “I love you” too. I wish Angie all the best for the rest of the show and now all the lads in there finally have a chance now I’m not longer in the race haha! Big love to you all!”
