Rachel Angala Wheatley and Joshua Mundy went from planning their wedding to being charged with the brutal murder of Queensland mother Sabrina Bremer.
The couple, who became engaged in April, fronted Beenleigh magistrates Court yesterday on charges of murder and misconduct with a corpse by interfering.
News Corp reports that the pair were both remanded in custody and will appear again in court on November 7.
A third man, Jade Rodney Nielen, also fronted court charged with being an accessory after the fact and his bail application has been adjourned.
Bremer's teenage daughter, who was the one who reported her mum missing, was present during the proceedings and came face-to-face with the people accused of killing her mother.
Police are still yet to confirm a connection between Bremer and the three accused.
The 34 year old mother’s body was found on August 18, a day after her daughter reported her missing.
A motorist found her burning body on the side of the road in Dulguigan after thinking it was a log – 100km from where she was last seen.
