After two months apart, it looks like Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are dating again. The actress and Coldplay frontman were spotted together on Wednesday night at the wrap party for Covers, a new film Johnson is starring in, and again on Thursday night at The Peanut Butter Falcon premiere.
A source told E! that the couple, who were together for two years before ending their relationship in June, is “planning to spend more time together later this summer.”
When news of the split surfaced in June, a source told The Sun the famous pair had been serious and the news came as a shock to those close to them. “There was talk of engagement but now he says they have gone their separate ways, which has come as a real surprise to everyone,” they said.
Meanwhile, Express reported that it was because they were at different stages in their lives. “Chris made it clear he wants more kids as soon as possible, but Dakota’s career has really taken off, and that’s the last thing she wanted to think about right away,” the outlet reported. “It got to the point, last month, where a light seemed to flick on in both their heads and they realised they were pulling in completely opposite directions – so they decided to call it a day.”
