Dakota Johnson’s Latest Look Is An Early Christmas Gift For Us All

The actress just delivered a lesson in festive dressing

Dakota Johnson is the latest member of the celebrity circuit to dig out her festive clobber after making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week in a gloriously merry ensemble.

Stepping out to cheers from the crowd, the actress kickstarted the Christmas countdown in the most covetable way possible courtesy of a tweed Alessandra Rich two-piece skirt suit.

Decked in seasonal black and red checks with power shoulders, polished buttons and a chic midi skirt – it was a look Mrs Clause would sure approve of.

To accessorise the co-ord selected from the spring/summer 2020 line, Johnson kept things simple in a pair of black Alexandre Birman strappy heels.

Destined to see her garner a spot at the very top of Santa’s Nice List this year, the look was thought up by stylist-to-the-stars Kate Young – the mastermind behind Sienna Miller, Selena Gomez and Margot Robbie’s wardrobes.

But Johnson isn’t the only famous face to have kitted Hollywood out in bright lights, as Emilia Clarke proved ’tis the season for all things sparkle at the London premiere of Last Christmas.

The actress shone in Prada at the London premiere

On November 13, the actress shone in a ruffled Prada gown complete with sheer puff sleeves, a victoriana-inspired collar and jewel-encrusted finish.

A silky hair ribbon worthy of a present and Cartier jewels we wouldn’t half mind finding beneath the Christmas tree, earned her extra style points.

With December beckoning, we’ll be adding fashion’s leading ladies to our festive mood board.
