David Beckham Steals His Best Beauty Secrets From Victoria Beckham

And reveals the one thing he'll never do again!

David Beckham might be a style star in his own right yet, he gets his grooming advice from his wife of 18-years Victoria Beckham.

“My approach to grooming was always to steal my wife’s products,” the 43-year-old told Into The Gloss.

“That was kind of it, really. I’d always been aware of how I wanted my hair to look, stuff like that, but I was also in a career where I was always outside…I had to take care of my skin because of that, but the way I looked after it was to steal my wife’s stuff, because I know she has the best.”

Revealing that he is launching a men’s grooming line with L’Oreal in 2019 called House99 – Beckham admits to indulging in face mask to hydrate his skin in addition to daily moisturising.

“The first time I did a mask was pretty recently, actually,” David revealed. “I tried the Tom Ford clay one, and I really like it. I very rarely have the time to do a mask, but Victoria loves to do it before she’s going to bed, or when she wakes up. Making the time to go for a nice facial is important—it doesn’t just make you look better, it makes you feel great as well.”

The father-of-four also believes in cleansing and protecting the sensitive skin around his eyes and lips. Now I use the Purefectly Clean Face Wash every morning. I don’t scrub my face every morning, but the face wash is something that I start with. And obviously the Face Moisturizer. Then I add a little bit of lip balm and the eye cream, just to give those areas a coating.”

David also revealed that his extensive tattoo collection inspired his first every foray into the beauty world. He says: “The work you had done can fade, can smudge, can be affected by the weather and the sun. It was important that I brought a product out that really helped that.”

While he recently guided Romeo Beckham through his first shave, David says he doesn’t think he will ever part ways with his own stubble. “I’ve worked out that I look better with some stubble than without. I think the last time I razor shaved was about 15 years ago.”
