You can be forgiven for not realising that Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus have a child together. The notoriously low key couple are adamant about protecting their daughter’s anonymity.
Not only keeping their daughter far away from the public’s gaze – but also refusing to reveal her name and photos of her face. Yet, Kruger and Reedus have celebrated their first Father’s Day together as a family marking the occasion with a very rare family portrait.

Back in January, Kruger made a public plea after paparazzi photos of her and Norman Reedus’ three-month-old daughter were published. “Dear fans, dear non fans, dear paparazzi and anyone with a conscience. We were just tagged in these paparazzi pictures of me and our daughter,” Kruger wrote.
“These pictures were taken without our consent and expose a vulnerable and innocent baby. While we understand that some people would like to see a picture of our daughter, we as parents, want nothing more than allow her to grow up in privacy and safety. Me and @bigbaldhead would kindly ask you to not repost these pictures and help us achieve that goal. Whoever has already posted them, please take them down.
“Please put yourself in our shoes. We are just like any parent wanting the very best for our child. Thank you for your support.”
Since welcoming her first child in November 2018 Kruger has shied from the spotlight, however, she said that being a mum makes her feel like a “superhero.”
“She’s very little, but I’m tired,” the actress shared with Extra. “I feel like a superhero right now.”
Reedus previous shared a close-up photo of the couple’s baby girl on social media. “A lot to be thankful for this year. ❤️ this one especially,” he wrote alongside the sweet family moment.
Kruger and Reedus have been dating since March 2017, when their romance was revealed to the world after they were spotted kissing in New York City. Kruger previously dated Joshua Jackson for a full decade before they broke up in July 2016.
The actress and The Walking Dead star made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2018 Golden Globes. Norman is already a dad to 18-year-old son Mingus Lucien Reedus with supermodel Helena Christensen whom he dated for five years before they split in 2003.
