We've come to know Dion Lee for his sculptural and clean eveningwear and knits, with the Australian designer having the ability to turn a simple, clean silhouette into a showstopper. Or, for the ability to take a wardrobe staple, such as the classic suit, and reinvent it in a way nobody had ever seen before. Now, Lee is tackling activewear, providing an updated (and ever so chic) addition to the luxury market. Launching in Carbon 38 stores and online from October 24th, Lee's newest collection introduces his aesthetic and techniques to active.
Firm fans of Lee will recognise his signatures from runway collections, including the perforations, cut in hibiscus pink, ivory and deep navy, as well as his signature cut-out backs and weaving. The new range borrows the architectural language of the Dion Lee brand and employs it within the sphere of activewear, creating something that is technical, and highly wearable. This collection is a thoughtful, engaging take on every piece a woman may need for her day - her workout needs, her office attire, what she needs for travel - and is designed to be seasonless.
