Bottomless Champagne, countless canapes and haute couture. These are the words we’d use to summarise Dior’s exclusive Sydney flagship boutique reopening party.
Following 12 months of renovations, the luxury French maison celebrated their legacy of elegance with a soirée for the ages—a timely endeavour coinciding with the easing of restrictions and the resurgence of nightlife in Sydney’s CBD.
Situated on the site of Sydney’s iconic heritage-listed Surrey Hotel on the intersection of King and Castlereagh Street, the bespoke three-storied venue was lined wall-to-wall with the latest pret-a-porter offerings, timeless classics and even a personalisation station. We died and went to Dior heaven.
However the highlight of the evening was certainly the exclusive afterparty. Us and 350 of the maison’s closest confidants—which boasts supermodels, actors, musicians and the upper echelon of Sydney society—were transported to the newly opened Shell House to continue the revelries.
The venue was decked out in lush greenery and resembled the French gardens that Monsieur Christian Dior loved so much.
