Australian Journalist’s Incredible Take-Down Of Donald Trump Goes Viral

"He was an uneasy, lonely, awkward figure"

An Australian journalist has perfectly encapsulated exactly what we’re thinking about Donald Trump with a searing takedown of the US President.

In a cross to the ABC program Insiders from Hamburg, journalist Chris Uhlmann unpacked Trump’s presidential behavior and recent appearance at the G20 summit.

“He was an uneasy, lonely, awkward figure at this gathering and you got the strong sense that some of the leaders are trying to find the best way to work around him,” Uhlmann explained.

“He has no desire and no capacity to lead the world.

“[He] barks out bile in 140 characters, [and] wastes his precious days as President at war with the West’s institutions like the judiciary, independent government agencies and the free press.”

Uhlmann also savaged Trump for his incredible ego.

“Donald Trump is a man who craves power because it burnishes his celebrity. To be constantly talking and talked about is all that really matters,” he said.

The take-down from Uhlmann—who generally leans on the conservative side of the political spectrum— has been shared by thousands of Twitter users and has been picked up by numerous media outlets. Here’s what others are saying:
