What is Dream Home Makeover about?
Dream Home Makeover follows husband and wife Syd and Shea McGee, who are the duo behind Studio McGee, their jointly run interior design company.
Shea, who is an interior designer, also created the couple’s dream home and after sharing snaps of their newly done place on Instagram, now has over a million followers which they leveraged into running their own business, much like the Insta-famous duo behind The Home Edit, which also spawned a Netflix series.
The show, as the name suggests, offers a look inside the couple’s business as they follow their motto to “make life beautiful” by revamping the homes of clients with budgets ranging from $20k all the way up to $2 million. It also gives a little insight into the couple’s personal lives and what it’s like for them to run the business together, while raising their two daughters, Wren and Ivy.
