When it comes to holidays there are a few at the top of our favourites list, including but not limited to Christmas and New Years. But, turns out we've been living a lie after discovering that it's officially National Drink Wine With Your Cat Week.
National Drink Wine With Your Cat Week is a brilliant combination of National Drink Wine Day (February 18) and National Love Your Pet Day (February 20), brought to life through a partnership between Offers.com and Pet Winery.
It's important to note that the holiday is Drink Wine With Your Cat Week, not just in close proximity to your feline friend. Of course, while it’s fun to indulge in a glass of wine in the company of your furry friend, it's dangerous to serve your cat wine crafted for humans. Alcohol consumption is unsafe for any pet.
Luckily, there is such a thing as cat wine, a non-alcoholic beverage designed for kitties that looks like wine but is actually made of catnip and other natural ingredients like fish oil and beet juice. This means you and Snowball can both cheers each other to the end of the week.
Some cats wines puuuuurfect for the occasion (sorry, I had to) include Mëow and Chandon Rosé and Pinot Meow.
