A spokesperson for the royal pair added that they have withdrawn their application to trademark the Sussex Royal brand used on both their website and social media channels.
"While the Duke and Duchess are focused on plans to establish a new non-profit organisation, given the specific UK government rules surrounding use of the word royal, it has been therefore agreed that their non-profit organisation, when it is announced this spring, will no be named Sussex Royal Foundation," the spokesperson said, per the BBC.
"The Duke and Duchess do not intend to use 'SussexRoyal' in any territory post-spring 2020."
It's interesting to note that Meghan's close friend Jessica Mulroney has reportedly registered a new domain, 'sussexglobalcharities.com', through her own nonprofit charity, the Shoebox Project Foundation.
The couple will official step down on March 31 with their revamped website and social media channels set to launch shortly.
In the meantime, the Sussexes will attend six events in the UK throughout February and March - most notably, they will make an appearance at the Commonwealth Day Service on March 9.
