Yes, the CW and Netflix show has quickly gained momentum for those who’ve inhaled the likes of Gossip Girl and Lipstick Jungle. Call it a soap opera with some extra glitz and glamour—Dynasty has captured our attention and left us wanting more.
The narrative is based off the popular 1980s primetime soap opera of the same name, starring the likes of Joan Collins and Linda Evans.
In the revamped version released in 2017, we follow the lives of the wealthy Carrington family. Four drama-filled seasons have come and gone with oil baron Blake Carrington’s children put to the test. Main characters include his daughter Fallon and son Adam among those who’ve dabbled in the elite circles of the famed (but fictional) Atlanta family.
Season four saw the family facing some of its biggest challenges to date. Fallon was ready to marry the love of her life, with a hope to seek some peace and quiet in her newlywed life (wishful thinking). Meanwhile, Adam attempts to drive more distance between himself and his family.

Will there be a Dynasty season 5?
Yes, Dynasty has been renewed for a fifth season. The show’s creators confirmed the news back in February 2021. The announcement came long before the fourth season was distributed later in the year, presumably to ensure anticipation around the shock cliffhanger remained high.
What will happen in Dynasty season 5?
Season five will no doubt reveal the fate of Fallon after she was shot in an epic showdown with Eva. It was a thrilling scene to watch in season four’s finale, but we’d be surprised if she actually dies given the character’s magnitude in the series. If she lives, we’ve no doubt Fallon and her now-husband Liam will have a lot to work through.
Per Deadline, it has also been revealed that newcomer Eliza Bennet will become a regular in season five, playing a long-lost Carrington relative who has a bunch of secrets. The character was born and raised in Europe and is expected to bring a lot of drama.
Who is in the cast of Dynasty season 5?
Expect the regulars to reprise their roles—Elizabeth Gillies as Fallon Carrington, Sam Underwood as Adam Carrington, Elaine Hendrix as Alexis Carrington and Adam Huber as Liam Ridley.
As mentioned above, British actor Eliza Bennet will also join the season five cast as one of the family’s long-lost relatives.
When will Dynasty season 5 be released?
