3 Amazing Cocktails You Can Easily Make At Home

Think cocktails are too hard to DIY? Think again. Master the three incredibly sippable drinks below and you won’t believe you’ve stuck to serving wine for so long. Each one is perfect to kickstart Saturday night drinks – or better yet, a boozy weekend away. Just don’t forget to pack the cocktail shaker (or the gin!).

1. Gin Gin Mule (serves 1)

Ingredients

45ml Bombay Sapphire

30ml fresh lime juice

15ml sugar syrup

60ml ginger beer

Method

Build ingredients into a highball glass, add cubed ice and stir.

Garnish with lime wedge and mint sprig 

2. The Tarragon Bramble

Ingredients

45ml Bombay Sapphire Gin

20ml Fresh lemon juice

15ml Crème de Mure

6 stems of tarragon

Method

Muddle tarragon and sugar syrup in a large rock glass.

Add lemon juice, Bombay Sapphire and fill glass halfway with crushed ice.

Stir through, top up with more crushed ice, then slowly crown Crème de mure.

Garnish with a tarragon stem.

3. Liquorice After Dark (serves 1)

Ingredients

45ml Bombay Sapphire          

15ml Crème De Cacao (White)

20ml Martini Rosso

15ml sugar syrup

Teaspoon Fernet Branca 

30ml cream (single) 

12 coffee beans 

Method

Combine all ingredients into a shaker, add cubed ice and shake vigorously to fine strain into a well-chilled cocktail glass

Garnish: grated liquorice root and ground coffee dusting.
