A big congratulations to the Sunrise host!

Smiling she told her fellow co-anchors Samantha Armytage and David “Kochie” Koch that she and husband Neil Varcoe were expecting.

“I have a bit of announcement myself, the girls already know. But Kochie, surprise…We’re having a baby!”

Koch was overjoyed, asking for the due date, to which she replied, “End of the year!”

Edwina then told the cameras, “Mum you can finally tell everyone,” adding it was the first grandchild on her family’s side.

Edwina and her husband Neil Varcoe wed in a stunning ceremony on Warramba farm near rural Lithgow, NSW. The couple exchanged vows in front of friends and family on April 21 at the 1980s farmhouse they lovingly restored.

Edwina wore a vintage dress which has been worn by three generations of her family, including her much-loved Grandmother in 1944. The gown was altered by Melbourne couturier Sonia Cappellazzo, of Cappellazzo Couture.

The 34-year-old previously revealed to WHO that the dress was not made by a designer, but described the gown as “an old dress, vintage, country romantic.”
