A huge congratulations are in order for former marie claire Australia cover star Elyse Knowles, who has announced she is expecting her first child with partner Josh Barker.
The couple, who have been dating for seven years, announced the exciting news to Instagram, sharing a sweet photo with a love heart covering Elyse’s belly while in the Northern Territory.
“And then there were 3 #babybarker 😝🧡,” she captioned.
Earlier this year, the 27-year-old model opened up about her desire to start a family.
“I just keep thinking that my mum had me at 28 and, oh my gosh, I need to get going! I want one or two kids by 30,” she told Gritty Pretty. “I just don’t want to wait until too late in my life. I’d rather put family first and then career.”
It also wasn’t the first time the Elyse has opened up about becoming a mum, telling WHO in 2018 that it was something she had dreamed about.
“If I wasn’t doing what I’m doing now, and having the dreams I have, I would have a baby by now,” she told the publication. “I love babies, adore them! I’m always babysitting for friends and I can’t wait to have a family.”
