The biggest night in television has officially begun!

Settle yourselves in for a day of head-turning red carpet looks, winners, snubs and light celebrity roasting, because the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards have officially begun.

This year’s Emmy’s will be hosted by funny men and Saturday Night Live veterans Colin Jost and Michael Che, so you can be sure there will be no shortage of laughs and some slight jabs at the celeb-filled theatre throughout the evening.

As for the favourites; Game of Thrones cleaned up with a total of 22 Emmy nominations, followed by Westworld and Saturday Night Live, which each had 21. Grey’s Anatomy star Sandra Oh also made history as the first Asian female ever to be nominated for an Emmy in a lead actress role (for the new hit show, Killing Eve).
