Everyone Thinks Laura Dern Snubbed Reese Witherspoon At The Emmys
Yesterday Big Little Lies totally cleaned up at the Emmys, with both Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern winning awards for their acting in the HBO hit drama.
While we had serious squad envy seeing Nicole and Laura on stage with their co-stars, Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley and Zoe Kravitz, fans noticed a moment of tension between Laura and Reese.
When Laura stood up to accept her win for Outstanding Supporting Actress, a fan video caught the actress hugging a guest behind her and then walking straight past Reese's aisle to give fellow co-star Nicole Kidman a big hug.
Though Reese does look a little confused in the clip, the camera might not have shown the full picture. Laura went on to thank both Reese and Nicole in her speech, and later held hands with her co-star while on stage. Phew.
"Thank you to Nicole and Reese's moms for not only giving us extraordinary women but really well-read women because that's how I'm getting parts. I share this with my tribe of four ladies.," she said.
