Your Weekly Fashion Digest: Coach’s New Campaign, Alexander McQueen Interiors And A Tribute Collection

We round it up.

Alexander McQueen’s dreamy new London store
For anyone heading to London soon, this is for you. Heritage British brand, Alexander McQueen, has re-opened their flagship Old Bond Street store — and it’s truly something. Creative director Sarah Burton (of Kate Middleton wedding dress fame) helped bring the interiors to life alongside renowned architect Smiljan Radic. The result is truly spectacular, with two storeys of wood panelling, stone detailing and sleek glass finishes. Mark the store on your next travel plan, ladies!

Coach has a brand new summer feel
Coach has announced the new faces of its women’s advertising campaign, set to star Australia’s own Adut Akech as well as Fran Summers, Indira Scott and Kiko Mizuhara. The dreamy campaign pays homage to the American brand’s roots, and features models in a range of Western-inspired pieces from the spring/summer 2019 collection. Photographed by Craig McDean and styled by Jane How, the campaign is most definitely gearing us up for an American summer.

Farfetch launches activist tribute collection
Is there anything better than a throwback? We think not and are all for Farfetch’s latest collaboration. Teaming up with online vintage shopping experts Byronesque, the e-commerce platform are paying tribute to The Vexed Generation, a movement of activists in London in the 90s who became known for activism through fashion. Releasing a 11-piece capsule collection, Farfetch and Byronesque have recreated some of the movement’s most iconic looks, which are available on Farfetch now.

Stripe for good!
Always ones to get behind a good cause, Marimekko has just announced they will be again collaborating with children’s human rights organsation Plan International. The brand will be donating $1 for every striped T-shirt — in the brand’s signature Tasaraita pattern — all through the year. Looking chic in stripes has never felt better.

Seafolly’s new gang
Seafolly has released their latest campaign, with brand new faces for the brand including Australia’s own Yan Yan Chan, Dutch model Chelsey Weimar, Scandi cool-girl Camilla Christensen and Cuban model Daili Perez fronting the shoot. The international line-up showcases the best of an Australian summer, shot by Akila Berjaoui on Ibiza’s best beaches. Just in time for the height of summer, there’s never been a better time to stock up on swimwear!
