“People were talking about [my role and the series], but then I’d put my phone down and I was still in my childhood bedroom and nothing in the physical world had changed,” she told marie claire Australia.
“I was being told things had changed [for me], but there was nothing tangible, so it was quite hard to believe.”
In the years since, Edgar-Jones has become a fully-fledged red carpet darling at various awards and premieres promoting her portfolio of onscreen projects.
