I made some mistakes, which are perfectly normal when you’re attempting to navigate a new trend. I went for styles which had a long slit up the front (too leggy for me, and they rode up when I sat down). I tried tighter styles, which didn’t feel comfortable. In the end, I found my dream denim skirt.

Winter? Easy – just add a turtleneck and boots. You can quite literally style it with absolutely anything. Sneakers. Ballet flats. Heels. Like I said, anything goes. Ultimately, it plays the role of jeans, only it’s more girly, which I love.
