Net-A-Porter Has Gone Completely Fur-Free

An amazing move from the popular fashion retailer

Net-a-Porter, one of the worldโ€™s biggest e-commerce sites, has announced its decision to adopt a fur-free policy.

The new move prevents any items made with animal fur from being sold on the hugely popular fashion website.

The change comes directly from Net-a-Porterโ€™s parent company, the Yoox Net-a-Porter Group (YNAP), which means itโ€™s not just NaP that the change will apply to โ€“ Mr Porter, Yoox, and The Outnet will all be ditching fur in a bid to focus on the environment and animal rights.

This announcement comes as other fashion labels take a stand for animal rights and consumers become increasingly aware of the effects fashion has on the environment.

Armani went fur-free last year, Stella McCartneyโ€™s spring 2017 runway collection featured shirts with messages like โ€œNo furโ€ and โ€œNo leatherโ€ and high street brands such as ASOS and Topshop have also sworn off fur.

Hatโ€™s off to you, Net-a-Porter! Letโ€™s hope others follow suit.
