Nature In Bloom—Van Cleef & Arpels Launches New Frivole Jewellery Collection

Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet? Van Cleef & Arpels thinks so.

Here in Australia, the allure of Spring is a far distant memory. Thanks to La Niña, heavy rainfall and cool temperatures have tarnished our recollections of the seasons distinct balmy mood and tranquil atmosphere.

Fortunately for us, luxury French jewellery maison Van Cleef & Arpels is continuing Spring all year round with the launch of their new Frivole novelties collection.

As is with all other Van Cleef & Arpels creations, these poetic creations are inspired by nature, however, for the first time in the lavish label’s 116 year history, the signature triptych of flowers bloom in new colourways.

The new Frivole collection welcomes the addition of an emerald gemstone, set in yellow gold petals, which evokes the impression of a flower bud blooming at dawn. Deep red rubies are paired with rose gold, an homage to Van Cleef & Arpels penchant for vivid creations that summons a sense of wonder.

Van Cleef & Arpels is inviting us into their enchanted garden with welcome arms adorned by precious metals, of course.

The new collection is complete with a flower for every occasion—earrings perfectly apt for running errands in, a bracelet so you’ll always have heart-shaped petals on your sleeve, and a plunging necklace suitable for the finest soirées ahead.

The crown jewel in this collection’s crown comes in the form of an eight flower ring. This luxurious bouquet reflects the maison’s craftsmanship and savoir faire, an accumulation of artistry and vitality since the launch of the Frivole collection in 2003.

With each of the jewels complete with a mirror-polished finish, our winter days ahead just got a little brighter as each petals’ lustre finish is designed to glisten in the sun.

Regardless of whether you have a green thumb, Van Cleef & Arpels new Frivole novelties collection could very well be the missing piece in your proverbial bouquet.
