The first official trailer for Mary Poppins Returns is here and Emily Blunt (Mary Poppins) is perfect.
The minute and a half long teaser for the new film presents some wonderful, gloomy scenery and a young boy running around in the wind with a kite.
As a storm begins to blow through the streets of London, the kite catches in the wind being sucked right up into the sky.
Struggling to drag it back down, the boy is struck with a huge surprise as he finds Mary Poppins on the end.
Mary Poppins Returns picks up 25 years after the events of the first film, set in London in the mid-1930s.
In this sequel, Michael is all grown up with a wife and three children. “It is wonderful to see you,” he says to her. “Yes, it is, isn’t it?” Mary Poppins quips.
