Cupid’s bow has struck the Windsor family once more with news that Flora Alexandra Ogilvy, the granddaughter of the Queen’s cousin Princess Alexandra of Kent, is engaged to Timothy Vesterberg.

The 24-year-old announced the happy news like any modern-day royal would with an Instagram post of the couple who first met in May.
“We’re engaged! My beloved Timothy asked me to marry him and we’re blissfully happy,” Ogilvy captioned the image.
The bride-to-be also added the hashtag #minälskling – a touching tribute to her Stockholm-born partner as it roughly translates to ‘my darling’ or ‘my love’.
The portrait bears striking resemblance to Princess Beatrice and fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi‘s engagement photograph which was unveiled on September 26.
In a further nod to the couple, Ogilvy’s father took the personal image while Princess Beatrice was famously behind her older sister’s romantic snap taken during family getaway in Italy.
Although a distant cousin of Princes Harry and William, Ogilvy – who works as an art consultant – is 56th in line to the throne meaning she rarely makes the headlines.
The last royal event she was photographed at was Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding on May 18. In the past, she has been spotted on the Buckingham Palace balcony during Trooping the Colour celebrations.
The soon-to-be newlyweds have yet to announce further details of their forthcoming nuptials but the engagement is sure to keep royal fans occupied in the run-up to Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s 2020 bash.
