Highest-paid-models 2016: Giselle Bundchen tops lists and Gigi Hadid makes her Debut

The 2016 Forbes magazine highest-paid-models list has been released and unsurprisingly, 35-year-old Giselle Bundchen continues to out-earn everyone.

Bundchen who remains the undisputed queen of the catwalk since 2002, raked in an impressive $30.5 million in the past year thanks to her lucrative deals with Chanel, Carolina Herrera, Pantene and through sales from her skincare and lingerie line.

Brazilian beauty Adrianna Lima, the longest-running Victoria’s Secret Angel came in second taking home $10.5 million followed by Karlie Kloss and Kendall Jenner who banked $10 million apiece.

In today’s world of social media supermodels like Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley it would seem they’ve mastered the art of translating their extraordinary social media following into multi million dollar paydays, reports Forbes.

Gigi Hadid made her debut on the list sharing the number five spot with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley earning $9 million While Cara Delevingne claimed the number seven spot with 8.5 million.

Australian Supermodel Miranda Kerr rounded out the top ten banking 6 Million this year plus she also scored an incredible diamond ring from her fiancé and Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel.

Ivan Bart, President at IMG Models said “Models, YouTube Stars, social media stars-this is their era”, and it clearly shows.

Collectively the 20 Supermodels earned $154 million and boast almost 200 million Instagram followers.
