But just hours after being awarded the Oscar for her role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Frances' award was stolen from her table at the Governor’s Ball after party.
The thief, however, didn't get away with the stolen goods for very long, getting caught after posting a video of himself with the Oscar on social media.
Terry Bryant took to Facebook Live video, holding up the trophy and claiming, “Got this tonight! This is mine. We got it tonight, baby!”
He was arrested on grand theft charges shortly afterwards and the award was returned to Frances, Variety reports.
