In season eight of Game of Thrones so far, two characters and their developing story has captivated the hearts of viewers. Earlier this season, Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) and Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) discussed their future plans to settle down after the Battle of Winterfell was over, and return to Naath to see the beaches.
"When the war is over, and [Daenerys] has won, do you want to grow old in this place?” Grey Worm asked Missandei. “Is there nothing else you want to do? Nothing else you want to see?”
“Naath,” she replied. “I’d like to see the beaches again.”

“Then I will take you there,” he promised.
Tonight, the couple's plans were stripped when Euron Greyjoy attacked the North's fleet. Missandei is taken hostage and Cersei orders that she be beheaded in front of the Dragon Queen. Grey Worm's devastating reaction was particularly gutting. But it was Dany's snarl that said it all. She's mad now. And she won't let Cersei rest for long. Twitter is right there with her.
