Georgia Fowler Models Dior's Cruise 2021 Collection

Boho layers and local artists defined Dior’s Cruise 2021 collection, staged earlier this year in at the Piazza del Duomo in Leece—a small town in Puglia, southern Italy.

Designer Maria Grazia Chiuri chose to pay homage to her home country, combining old-world techniques with a modern Dior aesthetic. Marilena Sparacsi was behind the rare tombolo embroidery that adorned pieces throughout and the Le Constantine Foundation crafted the woven textiles.

Puglia’s rich history ran deep through the collection, with bohemia, agriculture and arts weaved onto its ankle-grazing pinafore dresses, which were worn over sleeveless collared shirts. Practical and sleek boots replaced the house’s signature heels, while totes and bags had an air of sensibility, crafted with imagery of the Italian town.

Modelling the latest collection—which drops in boutiques this month—Georgia Fowler, dressed in breezy bohemian layers with flat boots and a kerchief in her hair—put the designs to the test, creating a holiday wardrobe that combines age-old craftsmanship with contemporary luxury.
