Georgia Love Hits Back At Those Speculating That She’s Pregnant

"I'm really, really sick of being made to feel like it's not good enough"

Georgia Love has taken to Instagram to speak out against body shamers who started speculating the former Bachelorette and journalist is pregnant after her fiance Lee Elliott posted a photo of the pair at a friend’s wedding over the weekend.

In the image, Georgia is wearing a long black dress standing side on and hugging Lee, who is wearing a tuxedo. Shortly after the post was shared, people started commenting. No, not that it’s cute to see how happy the couple who met on The Bachelorette in 2016 is, but that it looks like Georgia has a ‘baby bump’.

In response, Georgia wrote that she is “really, really sick of not feeling good enough” and of having to justify how her body looks to the public.

“To everyone commenting on Lee’s post last night: No, I’m not pregnant. No I haven’t just eaten pasta or had a big lunch,” she wrote. This is just how I look. And I’m really, really sick of being made to feel like it’s not good enough.”

“This is a happy photo of two happy people celebrating their friends’ wedding. In what world should my body come into it?” she continued.

“Feel free to comment below about how beautiful the wedding was, how nice it is to see us back together after I’ve been away, that you like our outfits or, if you REALLY feel the need to comment on how I look, you can point out how good my bum looks when I wasn’t even wearing underwear 💁🏼‍♀️” she finished, sharing two more smiling photos of herself and Lee from the day.

Fans and friends quickly commented in support of Georgia with current Bachelorette Angie Kent writing, “You’re magical!!! Haters goinnnnn hate! You’re a real woman. Beauty, brains, a heart of gold! Queen 👑” and former Bachelorette Sam Frost simply commenting, “QUEEEEEN 🙌🏼♥️”

Earlier this year, Georgia revealed that unflattering paparazzi photos which were published on the front of a magazine made her throw out all of the bikinis she owned, saying that it was enough for her to only want to wear one-pieces in public from now on. “I am a confident person but for the first time in my life I truly felt fat, horrible and shamed. Not ashamed. But shamed,” she wrote.

In conclusion? It doesn’t matter if she’s a celebrity, your friend or a family member, let’s just make it a rule to never ask a woman if she’s pregnant.
