Following Lisa Wilkinson’s shock exit from the Today show due to an equal pay dispute, speculation has been rife as to who will replace her as Karl Stefanovic’s co-host.

The surprise frontrunner? None other than 2016’s Bachelorette, Georgia Love. A TV reporter before she famously quit her career to find love on reality TV, Love has since taken up a reporting role at Channel Ten, but her newfound fame has also seen her doing live interviews on Today.
The news comes after Yahoo Be asked Love’s boyfriend, Lee Elliott, if she would consider the role while at Derby Day.
“Watch this space,” is all he would offer, after which Love quickly cut in to add, “Lee still thinks I’ve got Lisa Wilkinson’s job in the bag, but we’ll see.”
