Gigi Hadid is certainly a trend setter. From her tie dye ensemble at Coachella to her love for bike shorts and neon, anything the model touches turns to retail gold. So when she stepped out wearing our favourite teenage boots, we immediately went back home to find them in our 16-year-old self’s wardrobe.
Out and about in New York this week, Hadid opted to wear a pair of classic Doc Martens boots — another nod to her love of the ‘90s. Pairing them with monogrammed Burberry track pants and a white hoodie, the look was perfectly off duty.
She isn’t the first model to don a pair of Docs in the past few months. Kendall Jenner has been a recent fan, too, opting for the brand’s oxford-style low cut brogue in recent weeks.
If they’re good enough for two of the world’s biggest supermodels, they’re definitely good enough for us — and, with the ‘90s no doubt the biggest trend resurgence all of time, they’ve cemented their place as classics. Ready to get stomping?
