Gigi Hadid Stopped A Fake Model From Storming The Chanel Show

The iconic moment was caught on film

Gigi Hadid – supermodel, philanthropist and security guard? During Paris Fashion Week, a woman who was in the Grand Palais for the Chanel show surprised everyone when she stormed the runway as a prank, wearing a plaid suit and inserting herself among the lineup of models as they walked the finale.

While security guards were still attempting to get close enough to stop the scene, Gigi Hadid saw an opportunity to take matters into her own hands. As the woman approached the balcony she was standing on, Gigi stopped her in her tracks, confronting her before grabbing her arm and escorting her off stage.

As Gigi tried to quietly remove the woman, she tried to make a break for it, but quickly surrounding models boxed her in and the group evacuated her from the runway to waiting security guards.

The fake Chanel model was later identified as Marie Benoliel, best known as Marie S’Infiltre, a comedian and YouTube personality with 195,000 followers on Instagram.

Thanks to the blessing that is social media, we can see the moment in its full glory below.
